Description

Kurt Purdon from our Wellington Corporate Finance team will run a four-hour financial modelling workshop covering PwC’s best practice methodology for designing, building and reviewing financial models and Excel spreadsheets. This highly practical workshop will include tips and tricks to make sure your models are robust, flexible and accurate, while ensuring you avoid common pitfalls along the way.

The workshop assumes attendees have strong Excel foundation skills, however an understanding of advanced features (such as macros) will not be required, nor covered in the workshop. The focus is on designing and building simple, flexible financial models in order to answer complex business questions and issues.
Kurt has over four years’ experience in building and testing financial models for a wide a range of public and private entities. His key areas of expertise include models for valuation and M&A transactions.

Cost
Cost for the workshop is $450 + GST for the first attendee and $400+GST for subsequent attendees from the same organisation. An invoice for payment will be sent upon registration.
Places are limited to 20 people to maintain a 'small group' setting - first come first served. This session will count for 4 CPD hours.

What you will need
You will need to bring your own laptop with a version of Excel 2007 or later installed. Please make sure your laptops are fully charged.
