PwC tax experts will be facilitating a practical session on the taxation of trusts and beneficiaries as well as an update on the Trusts Bill, NZ tax treatment of trusts when settlors decide to emigrate and age care subsidies when assets are held in a trust.

Ian is a Tax Director with 30 years experience with PwC and is a co-author of Thomson Reuters publication New Zealand Guide to Trusts (tax related chapters)  and provides advice on a range of tax issues affecting family trusts and their beneficiaries.

Keegan Toft

Keegan is a corporate / commercial Director at PwC Legal, who works closely with PwC’s Tax and Private Business teams to provide commercially focussed solutions. He advises on a wide range of legal issues including M&A, capital raisings, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, corporate governance, employee share schemes, trusts, corporate reorganisations, and commercial contracts.
